We are excited to host our Inaugural Halloween On the Green Golf Classic, scheduled for October 19, 2019 at the Links Course at Arizona Biltmore Golf Club. This fundraising event will bring everyone together to benefit SHRM of Greater Phoenix and the SHRM Foundation. We need your help to make the tournament a success for this outstanding human resources development program. You can do your part by sponsoring or donating to the event.

SHRMGP is a non-profit 501 (c)(6) and is proud to be a local affiliate chapter of the National Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the world's largest professional membership organization in Human Resource Management. SHRMGP has been recognized nationally for its programs and accomplishments, including being awarded the SHRM Superior Merit Award status.

Founded in 1947 as the Phoenix Personnel Club, the organization has continued to change to meet the growing needs of human resource professionals. In 1991, we became Metro Phoenix Human Resource Association (MPHRA), and in 2003 we changed our name to the Valley of the Sun Human Resource Association (VSHRA) and in 2013 we became SHRM of Greater Phoenix (SHRMGP).

A portion of the proceeds from the Inaugural Halloween On the Green Golf Classic will go to our SHRM Foundation.  The SHRM Foundation is a values-based charity organization whose mission is to champion workforce and workplace transformation. It provides research-based HR solutions for challenging inclusion issues facing current and potential employees, scholarships to educate and develop HR professionals and opportunities for HR professionals to make a difference in their local communities. The SHRM Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management.

See you on the green!!
